Southern Online Services renamed

HYDERABAD: Southern Online Services (SOL), a Hyderabad based B category Internet service provider, is changing its name to Southern Online Bio Technologies Limited, subsequent to its acquisition of Southern Biofe Bio Fuels. The latter, promoted by some investors behind the SOL project, is proposing to set up a biodiesel production unit near Hyderabad with an investment of Rs. 14.84 crores. According to a release, the company held an EGM recently to amend the articles of memorandum, increase authorised capital, and go for right issue/preferential allotment. - Our Special Correspondent
